Blue Steel Dash is a Sydney based group which mixes community support activities with as much outdoors stuff as we can. We help out in places as far away as South Australia and as a group have trekked in places as diverse as Tasmania, Nepal, Peru, NZ, Africa and PNG. And the Blue Mountains of course. We aim to sow into the lives of others all that we can that is adventurous, testing and full of wonder. And we do it because, well just because we can. And because we love the company of others who also think that living life with regrets is no life at all.
The VERY latest news about what we are up to is found on the Blue Steel Dash Facebook site. Click on the Facebook link below to be taken there. If you have not done so already LIKE us! Then you will be always up to date. And check the Activities tab on this site for the next adventure.

“But that’s the glory of foreign travel, as far as I am concerned. I don’t want to know what people are talking about. I can’t think of anything that excites a greater sense of childlike wonder than to be in a country where you are ignorant of almost everything. Suddenly you are five years old again. You can’t read anything, you have only the most rudimentary sense of how things work, you can’t even reliably cross a street without endangering your life. Your whole existence becomes a series of interesting guesses.” Bill Bryson
"It is not the mountain we conquer but ourselves."Edmund Hillary
“A man must shape himself to a new mark directly the old one goes to ground.”Ernest Shackleton
"I have not told half of what I saw."Marco Polo
“Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one’s lifetime.”Mark Twain

“Piglet sidled up to Pooh from behind. "Pooh?" he whispered."Yes, Piglet?""Nothing," said Piglet, taking Pooh’s hand. "I just wanted to be sure of you.”A.A. Milne, Winnie-the-Pooh
